Adopt a cat

Please note: Due to an outbreak of cat flu Wrexham adoption centre is currently closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

All the cats are being well cared for and are still bright and alert but just very sneezy.

Once the centre has been given the all clear we will let you know

Please browse the list of cats that we have available for adoption to get an idea of the kind of cat that you are looking for. Then please come and meet our lovely cats here at the centre. When you come to the centre we will ask you to fill out a questionaire so that we can try and match you up with the purr-fect cat for your home.

**Before coming to the centre please bring a proof of identification and address such as a credit card statement, utility bill or driving license.**

**We also require proof permission to have a cat if you live in a rental property, this includes Private, Council and Housing Association tenants. Permission can either be written or emailed across to us before a reservation can be put on a cat. This can be emailed to Wrexham@cats.org.uk**

Our adoption fee is £47 (cash, card or cheque) and this covers the cat's vaccinations*, a full vet check, flea and worm treatments, neutering**, microchip and 4 weeks free vet fees insurance.

*If the cat/kitten requires a 2nd vaccination after adoption you will be required to go to Vets 4 Pets Veterinary Surgery in Wrexham on Caia Road and pay a £6 administration fee on the day, to the veterinary surgery.
**Where a kitten has not been neutered Cats Protection we will provide a neutering voucher to cover the full cost of the operation.
