What we do

Wrexham & District Branch provides help for needy cats and their owners in Wrexham, Chester and as far afield as Flint, Corwen and Llangollen.  Through our Wrexham Adoption Centre we rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens, and provide a rehoming service for owners who are no longer able to care for their cat.
As a Branch, we are essentially self funding.  Our charity shop in Wrexham town centre, along with numerous fund-raising events, helps to raise money for our cat welfare work.

At the Wrexham & District Branch, through a dedicated team of staff and volunteers we provide the following services:

  •     Care for and rehome stray and abandoned cats and kittens
  •     Rehome cats and kittens whose owners are no longer able to care for them
  •     Provide help towards neutering costs for low income cat owners.
  •     Provide help with the neutering of ferals
  •     Lost & Found register
  •     Cat care advice
  •     Educational talks
